'RMS Titanic Miscellany is the quintessential book to learn just about all you ever wanted to know about this magnificent leviathan...A must-have book for all  Titanic enthusiasts.'
Robert J Cooper, CEO of Harland & Wolff

About the Author
John David Thomas White, MA, is Belfast-born and proud of it. His father John McDermot White worked in the famous Harland &Wolff Shipyard at Queen’s Island, Belfast all his life. John grew up in East Belfast duringthe 1960s and 1970s, close to the dry dock where the world-famous ship, RMS Titanic, was constructed. Indeed, the giant Harland & Wolff cranes, Samson and Goliath, can still be seen today from the Short Strand area where  John lived and played and where his mum still lives in the family home in Harper Street. Although this is John’s first book on Titanic he has had more than 30 titles published

TITANIC MADE IN BELFAST FESTIVAL 2010

The Irish Titanic Historical Society and The Addergoole Titanic Society travelled to Belfast for the Titanic Made in Belfast Festival. What a fantastic day!! We started the day off with a bus tour out to Queens Island to Harland and Wolff with Stephen Cameron from Belfast Titanic Society as our tour guide, taking in the Drawing Rooms the Slipway and the Thompson Dry Dock a fascinating tour.

Then back to City Hall for a fantastic Lecture fron Kenneth Anderson who was in charge of photographic archives in the Ulster Folk and Transport Museem.

City Hall was buzzing with Titanic Enthusiasts enjoying the exhibits on Display. Another fantastic Society event

Titanic The Artifact Exhibition 2010

See Photo gallery for pictures

The Irish Titanic Historical Society, Belfast Titanic Society and Addergoole Titanic Society  visited the Titanic Artifact Exhibition in Dublin. The 3 societies come together for this  very special event on January 23rd 2010. Its the first time the three societies have attended an event together. After the exhibition we had the pleasure of Rory Golden giving a talk about his experiences diving on Titanic in 2000 and 2005 it was a very exciting slideshow. That was followed by a Society Dinner and a chance to get to know our fellow Titanic enthusiasts.
